The Canadian College of Kuwait (CCK) has entered into a new academic partnership with India’s Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The agreement sets the stage for cooperation in key areas of teaching, research, and innovation, linking two institutions that share a common goal of preparing students for a rapidly changing world.

Under the MoU, CCK and VIT will:
- Advance academic exchange through student mobility initiatives, faculty development, and community engagement programs.
- Launch research and innovation-led activities, co-designed by both institutions to enhance practical learning and global competence.
- Create new opportunities for students to participate in global research, exchange programs, and innovation-driven learning experiences.
“Education should never be confined by borders,” said Mr. Othman Ayman Boodai, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at the Canadian College of Kuwait.

“Our partnership with Vellore Institute of Technology offers students more than a qualification; it gives them an international mindset, real-world exposure, and the confidence to succeed globally. It reflects our guiding belief, “Think Global, Study Local.”
This alliance between the Canadian College of Kuwait and Vellore Institute of Technology was guided by the leadership and strategic support of Dr. R. Seenivasan, Director of International Relations, and Dr. J.N.V. Raghuram, Deputy Director of International Relations at VIT, a collaboration that transcends borders and inspires a new era of global learning.

Vellore Institute of Technology, recognized among the world’s top universities, is ranked 142nd globally for Engineering & Technology and within the 551–600 band for Business & Management Studies, according to the QS World University Rankings 2025.
As one of Kuwait’s forward-looking higher education institutions, the Canadian College of Kuwait continues to build international bridges that empower students to achieve global success without leaving home.
Together, the two institutions are shaping a future where students gain world-class academic exposure, industry-ready skills, and global opportunities, all within Kuwait.
