Cabinet declares “National and Liberation Days” as holidays

Kuwait’s National Day and Liberation Day will be celebrated with a suspension of work in all ministries, government agencies, public bodies, and institutions on Tuesday, February 25, and Wednesday, February 26.

This decision was announced during the weekly meeting of the Council of Ministers, chaired by Prime Minister His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdullah. Additionally, Thursday, February 27, will be observed as a day of rest, with official work resuming on Sunday, March 2.

Whereas, for agencies with a special nature of work, their holidays will be determined by the relevant authorities overseeing their operations, ensuring that the public interest is taken into account.
