Breaking | Kuwait Security Update – March 8, 2026

The Ministry of Defense announced that Kuwaiti air defense systems are currently dealing with hostile missile attacks and drones.

According to the official spokesperson, Brigadier General Saud Al-Otaibi, the Kuwaiti Armed Forces intercepted a wave of hostile drones that breached the country’s airspace at dawn on Sunday, March 8.

The drones reportedly targeted fuel tanks at Kuwait International Airport, in what officials described as a direct attack on vital infrastructure.

Security forces continue to monitor the situation while air defense systems remain on high alert.
