Bootlegger arrested for possessing of 17 bottles of imported alcohol
An Arab man has been arrested in Farwaniya by a police patrol affiliated to the Farwaniya Security Directorate for possessing of 17 bottles of imported alcohol.
According to security sources the suspect was arrested during at a routine checkpoint. During interrogation, the man reportedly confessed to regularly indulging in the illegal activity.
Following the arrest, head of the Public Security Sector, Hamad Al-Munaifi, ordered the confiscation of the seized materials and directed that the accused be referred to the Directorate-General for Drug and Alcohol Control for further legal proceedings.
