Security and emergency protocols were activated immediately, with specialized teams rushing to the site to contain the situation.
Firefighting units from the Kuwait Fire Force, supported by medical emergency teams, brought the blaze under control in line with established safety procedures.
The Ministry confirmed that several police officers, along with employees of a private company contracted to provide cleaning services at the facility, sustained injuries during the incident, reports Al-Jarida daily.
All injured individuals were promptly transferred to hospital for treatment, and their medical conditions are currently under continuous observation.
The Ministry noted that there were no delays in providing care and that emergency services responded swiftly and efficiently.
A formal case has been registered at the Sulaibiya police station under number (2026/8), covering both the fire and the resulting injuries.
The competent authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the incident and are proceeding with all necessary legal actions in accordance with the law.
