. . . as Amazon is also expanding its operations in Kuwait, exploring a new operational model aimed at enhancing its local presence and revitalizing its activities in the Kuwaiti market — a move reflecting growing international interest in the country’s evolving investment landscape

Following the completion of procedures paving the way for the implementation of the Entertainment City project, Kuwait is preparing to attract leading international companies to invest, develop, and operate the upcoming world-class tourist destination.

Reliable sources said BlackRock has joined the list of global firms nominated to supervise the project, noting that the company — working in coordination with the relevant authorities — is seeking a key oversight role in the development of the landmark facility.

A delegation from BlackRock is expected to arrive in Kuwait in the coming weeks to meet with senior government and economic officials and discuss opportunities for cooperation, reports Al-Jarida daily.

The sources added that regulatory approvals and the granting of commercial licenses to BlackRock to operate in Kuwait underscore the company’s confidence in the strength of Kuwait’s economy and its commitment to supporting value-added foreign investment and developing national talent.

Meanwhile, the sources revealed that Amazon is also expanding its operations in Kuwait, exploring a new operational model aimed at enhancing its local presence and revitalizing its activities in the Kuwaiti market — a move reflecting growing international interest in the country’s evolving investment landscape.
