Bedoun caught with narcotics cache, 24 liters hashish oil, 115,000 Lyrica pills

A specialized team from the General Department of Narcotics Control has taken into custody an illegal resident (bedoun) for drug trafficking and possessing a substantial quantity of narcotic and psychotropic substances.

During the operation, officers found with the suspect a significant cache that included approximately 115,000 Lyrica pills, 5 kilograms of Lyrica powder, and 24 liters of hashish oil.

Additionally, the security personnel seized a number of devices and tools used in the manufacturing and preparation of illegal drugs, suggesting a sophisticated setup intended for large-scale distribution.

A quantity of live ammunition was also found in the suspect’s possession, raising serious concerns about the broader implications of his activities.

The accused and all confiscated items were referred to the Drugs and Alcohol Prosecution Office, where legal procedures are underway to hold the individual accountable for violating Kuwait’s strict anti-drug and public safety laws.
