Bangladesh congratulates Kuwait on the occasion of National & Liberation days
On behalf of the people, the Government of Bangladesh and on my own behalf, I would like to extend our heartiest congratulations and warm greetings to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Government and the brotherly people of the State of Kuwait on the auspicious occasion of the 64th National Day and 34th Liberation Day of the State of Kuwait.
Kuwait’s journey since independence has been remarkable. From its strategic role as a trading hub in the Arabian Gulf to becoming a global leader in oil production and financial services, Kuwait has consistently demonstrated resilience, innovation, and a commitment to progress. The nation’s ability to rebuild and thrive after the challenges of the 1990 invasion is a testament to the strength and unity of its people.
As we celebrate this joyous occasion, we also recognize Kuwait’s contributions to regional and global peace. Kuwait has emerged as a beacon of diplomacy, fostering cooperation and dialogue in the Gulf region and beyond. Its efforts in humanitarian aid, mediation, and sustainable development have earned it respect on the international stage.
The strong bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Kuwait are a source of pride. Over the years, our relations and partnership have grown stronger, encompassing many fields with particular focuses on human resources, trade, investment, development, and defence sectors. We believe that both our countries have the potential to further consolidate these relations through more interactions for mutual benefit of our two countries. We look forward to deepening this collaboration in the years to come, working together to address global challenges and promote shared prosperity.
On this special day, we join the people of Kuwait in celebrating their rich cultural heritage, vibrant traditions, and the spirit of unity that defines their nation. We also wish continued peace, progress and prosperity to the brotherly people of Kuwait.
