Bangladesh ambassador visits 4 nationals injured during drone strike on Kuwait Airport

In the aftermath of the devastating drone attack that struck Kuwait International Airport on Saturday evening, at least 12 people of various nationalities were reported injured, including several Bangladeshi nationals employed at the airport at the time of the strike.

The injured workers were immediately transferred to multiple hospitals across Kuwait, where they are currently receiving medical treatment. Medical teams are closely monitoring their condition, while authorities continue to assess the full impact of the incident that has sent shockwaves across the region.

In a prompt response, the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Kuwait, Major General Syed Tareq Hussain , accompanied by senior officials from the Bangladesh Embassy, visited the hospitals where the injured Bangladeshi nationals are being treated.

During the visit, the Ambassador met personally with the victims, inquired about their health status, and received detailed briefings from hospital authorities regarding their ongoing treatment. He conveyed deep concern for their wellbeing and reassured them of the embassy’s full support during their recovery.

The Bangladesh Embassy affirmed that it will extend comprehensive consular assistance to the injured workers and remain in close coordination with Kuwaiti authorities to ensure all necessary support is provided to the victims and their families during this challenging time.
