
Bapco Energies, the integrated energy company leading the transformation of Bahrain’s energy sector, announced Monday, a state of Force Majeure on its operations affected by the ongoing Iranian attacks on the region and the recent attack targeting one of the units at the Bapco Refining Company, a subsidiary of the group.
In a statement, carried by Bahrain News Agency, the company clarified that all the needs of the local market are fully secured according to proactive plans that ensure the continuity of supplies and the fulfillment of local demand without impact.
Bapco Energies expressed its appreciation for its strong relationships with all its stakeholders and affirmed that it will continue to keep partners and relevant parties informed of the latest information and developments.
Earlier Monday, the National Communication Centre announced a fire following an Iranian attack on a facility in Ma’ameer, resulting in material damage but no loss of life, the relevant authorities are currently working to extinguish the fire.
