Bahrain says ‘no abnormal radiation levels detected’

Bahrain said today (Saturday) that no unusual radiation levels have been detected in the kingdom’s atmosphere, reassuring the public that environmental radiation monitoring continues around- the-clock.

According to the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), the Supreme Council for the Environment confirmed that radiation data is regularly updated through monitoring stations located across various governorates.

The Council emphasized that, as part of its precautionary protocols, it is closely tracking any developments that could affect Bahrain’s environmental safety.

It also affirmed its full coordination with relevant authorities under established emergency response plans to monitor radiation indicators.

The statement comes amid heightened regional tensions and follows widespread concerns over environmental and security repercussions in the Gulf.
