Bahrain Crown Prince arrives in Kuwait on official visit

Senior leaders lead high-level reception; visit highlights strong Kuwait–Bahrain ties

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, arrived in Kuwait this morning on an official visit, accompanied by a high-level delegation, in a step that reflects the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the two countries.

Leading the reception at the airport was His Highness the Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.

Also present to welcome the Bahraini leader were senior state officials, including Head of the National Guard Sheikh Mubarak Hamoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sharida Abdullah Al-Maousherji, Head of the Crown Prince’s Diwan Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, along with a number of senior officials.

Prince Salman was accompanied by an official delegation that included Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Interior Minister Lieutenant General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Municipalities and Agriculture Engineer Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Labor and Minister of Legal Affairs Yousef bin Abdulhussain Khalaf, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, Minister of Cabinet Affairs Hamad bin Faisal Al Maliki, Minister of Education Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Industry and Commerce Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, in addition to other senior officials.

The visit underscores the strength of Gulf cooperation and ongoing coordination between Kuwait and Bahrain across political, economic and developmental fields.
