Austria Congratulates Kuwait on National and Liberation Days

On the occasion of Kuwait’s National Day and Liberation Day I would like to extend my congratulations to His Highness the Amir, the Crown Prince, the government of the State of Kuwait and all Kuwaitis.

Austria was among the first countries recognizing Kuwait’s independence more than 60 years ago. Since that time both nations enjoy excellent bilateral relations and cooperate in many fields.

Kuwait formidably overcame the disastrous effects of a brutal invasion and since then has demonstrated her will and capability to rebuild a prosperous and stable country. I wish the State of Kuwait further success in the realization of her ambitious plans for the future.
