“Athbi Al-Nasser” emphasizes better coordination among agencies for Farwaniya road maintenance project

The Farwaniya Governor, Sheikh Athbi Al-Nasser, met in his office at the governorate’s general office today, Thursday, with the company involved in implementing the radical maintenance contracts for internal roads and streets, and some areas of the governorate.

The Governor during this meeting attentively heard a detailed explanation about the company’s plan to implement the maintenance contracts.

Moreover, Al-Nasser wished the company further progress and prosperity, stressing the need to start the most important required work and expedite the maintenance, especially for the most damaged streets.

Highlighting the need to collaborate, Al-Nasser discussed ways of cooperation and coordination between the governorate and the Roads and Networks Maintenance Department at the Ministry of Public Works.

Furthermore, he in addition to the implementing company, called upon citizens and residents to cooperate with the concerned authorities, during the coming period of road maintenance work.

On the other hand, Al-Nasser received Director General of the Farwaniya Security Directorate, Brigadier Saleh Al-Azmi; Assistant Director of the Governorate Security, Brigadier Nayef Al-Hajraf; Assistant Director of the Investigations Department, Colonel Ahmed Al-Yassin; Assistant Director of the Rescue Department, Colonel Mishari Ghazi and; Head of the Patrols Department in the Governorate, Lieutenant Colonel Dhahi Al-Nusafi, appreciating the role of the security institution in protecting the homeland and ensuring its preservation and stability.

Moreover Al-Nasser stressed further about the great role played by the security sectors in the governorate towards their homeland, and especially their sacrifices in order to spread the spirit of reassurance in achieving security of citizens and providing stability to the country.

As a future course of action, the Governor was briefed about the security plans, initiatives and programmes that will be implemented in the coming period. As these measures are meant to improve security services that are provided to citizens and residents as well.
