. . . as IWG hosts a creative art event

The International Women’s Group (IWG) hosted “Art & Aroma,” a vibrant celebration of art, beauty, and creativity, on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Kuwait City.

Organized under the leadership of IWG President and spouse of the Georgian Ambassador, Mrs. Marika Kochlamazashvili, along with the IWG Board, the event gathered distinguished guests, women ambassadors, and members of Kuwait’s diverse international community for a morning devoted to artistic expression and sensory harmony.

In her opening remarks, the IWG President conveyed her heartfelt gratitude and delight in welcoming guests to the third gathering of the season, highlighting the organization’s ongoing mission to promote cultural exchange, friendship, and understanding among women of diverse backgrounds.

“It has always been my dream,” said the President, “to host a special event dedicated to the celebration of art, reflecting the spirit of beauty and harmony. Today, I am overjoyed to see this dream come true, as we celebrate art and aroma together.”

The theme of the event, “Art & Aroma,” explored the harmonious interplay between art and aroma—each capable of awakening the senses, inspiring creativity, and nurturing a sense of inner balance.

Guests enjoyed an inspiring program featuring captivating Art Under Water displays by Djana Chapuis; an introduction to an exceptional tea collection and the refined world of sparkling tea by the London-based Tea Group; an elegant bouquet arrangement demonstration by Armani Fiori Kuwait; live piano performances by Harriet Bushman; a Japanese origami masterclass promoting creativity and mindfulness by Anna Mukai, daughter of H.E. the Japanese Ambassador; and a mesmerizing exhibition from the Contemporary Art Platform, alongside two paintings by Lina Hijazi.

In addition to the impressive presentations, guests took part in painting a collective IWG logo masterpiece, symbolizing unity, creativity, and the vibrant international spirit of the organization.

In closing, the President expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the IWG Board members, whose dedication and hard work were instrumental in bringing the event to life.
