Arrested for assaulting a traffic officer

A Kuwaiti citizen has been arrested for assaulting a traffic officer near Mahboula.

According to investigations, the incident occurred when the officer, employee of the Ministry of Interior Traffic Department, attempted to intervene in a dispute between the citizen and a Bangladeshi man following a traffic accident, according to news report.

During the altercation, the citizen turned violent and attacked the officer.

Security forces quickly intervened, and the suspect was arrested on the spot and referred to the Rigga Police Station for further legal action.
