Arab Diplomatic Corps bids farewell to Iraqi and Egyptian envoys

The Deanship of the Arab Diplomatic Corps in Kuwait held a farewell ceremony on Sunday evening in honor of the Iraqi Ambassador, H.E. Al-Manhal Al-Safi, and the Egyptian Ambassador, H.E. Osama Shaltout, marking the conclusion of their tenure in Kuwait.
The event was attended by Ambassador Ahmed Al-Bakr, Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab Affairs, representing the Kuwaiti government, alongside a large gathering of Arab ambassadors and diplomats.
In his address, Palestinian Ambassador Rami Tahboub, Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps, commended the two ambassadors for their significant contributions in strengthening bilateral relations between their countries and Kuwait, reports Al-Rai daily.
He emphasized that their efforts were highly valued both officially and popularly, wishing them success in their future endeavors.
Ambassador Al-Safi expressed gratitude to Kuwait’s leadership and people for their support throughout his tenure, highlighting the strong bonds he shared with fellow Arab diplomats.
Ambassador Shaltout also conveyed his appreciation, expressing pride in the cooperation he received from Kuwait and underscoring the spirit of brotherhood that unites Arab ambassadors.
The ceremony concluded with Ambassador Tahboub presenting commemorative shields to both ambassadors on behalf of the Arab diplomatic corps, recognizing their efforts and contributions to Arab diplomatic collaboration.
