Appropriate action taken against rowdy revelers
The General Administration of Security Relations and Media issued a statement disclosing 13 instances of violations related to the sale of balloons, water pistols, and foam canisters, along with the individuals responsible were referred to the appropriate authorities.
These actions are part of the Ministry’s ongoing endeavors to enforce regulations and curb unlawful activities during national holiday celebrations, undertaken in collaboration with the Kuwait Municipality and the Environment Public Authority, reports Al-Qabas daily.
The administration emphasized a steadfast approach toward addressing any breaches of the law or misconduct, asserting that swift and decisive measures will be taken against offenders who flout the guidelines outlined for national festivities.
In a separate announcement on Monday, the Ministry of the Interior reported the arrest of 30 individuals for environmental infractions during yesterday’s national holiday celebrations. Among them, 17 individuals, including 15 juveniles engaged in the act of throwing water-filled balloons, were referred by field sectors to the Environmental Police for appropriate action.
