Amiri decree cancels cash for unused leave days scheme during employment

An Amiri decree was issued on Monday canceling a scheme to exchange unused leave days with cash during years of employment.

Amiri decree 63/2025, signed by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, canceled the third article of item 41 of the decree issued on April 4, 1979 concerning civil service.

After the review and approval, the new decree was passed and the government was tasked with implementation after publishing the decree in the official gazette.
