Amir visits KFAS headquarters, chairs Board Meeting on Golden Jubilee

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, visited the headquarters of the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) in Sharq on the occasion of the foundation’s 50th anniversary.

Upon arrival, His Highness was warmly received by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah, Prime Minister; Dr. Amina Rajab Farhan, Director General of KFAS; and members of the Foundation’s Board of Directors.

During the visit, His Highness chaired a meeting of the KFAS Board of Directors, underscoring the leadership’s continued support for the institution and its mission in advancing scientific research, innovation and knowledge development in Kuwait.

His Highness also toured the foundation, where he was briefed on its history and key achievements over the past five decades.

The visit of HH the Amir marked the appreciation and recognition of KFAS’s contributions to national development.
