Amir of Qatar awards Kuwaiti envoy Al-Wajbah Medal for strengthening bilateral ties

His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, has awarded the Al-Wajbah Medal to the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Doha, Khaled Al-Mutairi, in recognition of his distinguished efforts in enhancing the strong bilateral relations between the two brotherly nations.

The Qatari Emiri Diwan announced on Wednesday that the medal was presented during a farewell reception held by Sheikh Tamim at the Emiri Diwan, marking the conclusion of Ambassador Al-Mutairi’s tenure in Doha.

In a statement to KUNA the Amir expressed his appreciation for the ambassador’s contributions to advancing cooperation between Qatar and Kuwait and extended his best wishes to Al-Mutairi for continued success in his future responsibilities. His Highness also reaffirmed his hope for further growth and development in Qatari-Kuwaiti relations.

In response, Ambassador Al-Mutairi conveyed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Emir and Qatari officials for the support and cooperation extended to him throughout his diplomatic mission, which he said had significantly contributed to the success of his work in Qatar.
