Amir hails aviation security achievement during high-level meetings at Bayan Palace

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, received His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Sunday morning at the Bayan Palace. His Highness also welcomed His Highness the Prime Minister, Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah.

In separate audiences, His Highness the Amir received the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, as well as the Minister of Defense, Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, and the Chairman of the Public Authority of Civil Aviation (PACA), Sheikh Hamoud Mubarak Al-Hamoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

The visit highlighted Kuwait’s achievement in receiving a distinguished certificate from the President of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), acknowledging the nation’s development of a robust and efficient aviation security oversight system and its continued adherence to international standards and recommended practices.

A commemorative shield was also presented to His Highness on the occasion of inaugurating the third runway and the new control tower at the Kuwait International Airport.

His Highness the Amir congratulated the delegation on this significant milestone, noting that it strengthens Kuwait’s global standing and reflects the nation’s dedication to excellence. He wished them continued success in raising Kuwait’s flag proudly in regional and international arenas.

For his part, His Highness the Crown Prince received His Highness the Prime Minister, followed by meetings with the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, the Minister of Defense, and the PACA Chairman. The same aviation achievement was presented to His Highness, along with a commemorative shield.

His Highness the Crown Prince expressed pride in this accomplishment and extended his best wishes for their continued success in serving Kuwait under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir.
