American study shows jump in Kuwaiti citizens’ life expectancy

Recent American statistics for 2020 to 2023 issued by the Worldmeter Center showed a sharp rise in the average lifespan of Kuwaiti citizens by nearly 4 years, the average age of men jumped from 76 to 79 and women from 80 to 83.

Kuwait ranked 42nd globally in the list of countries with the highest average lifespan, while it came in fourth place in the Arab world after Qatar, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.

During the period from 2000 to 2021, the average reached 76 years with slight variances, according to the “Worldmeter” Center, but according to the American “MacroTrends” platform, the average was about 73 between 2001 and 2008, then it increased to 74 between 2009 and 2014, and furthermore increased to 75 and 76 between 2015 and 2021.
