Ambassadors extend Eid wishes to Kuwait for joy, security, and safety

Several heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Kuwait extended their warm congratulations to the leadership, government, and people of the country on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr. They wished for Kuwait to experience more joy, security, and safety.

At the outset, H.E. Dr. Zubaydullo Zubaydov Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan, extended congratulations to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister, the government, and the Kuwaiti people. He wished continued success for the political leadership and progress and prosperity for Kuwait and its people.

He added that Kuwait has been and will remain an example of stability and economic growth, continuing as an oasis of security and safety for peace and prosperity in the region.

H.E. Mohammed Al-Zoubi

Ambassador H.E. Mohammed Al-Zoubi of Antigua and Barbuda extended his warmest and heartfelt congratulations to His Highness the Amir, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Al-Sabah, the government of Kuwait, and all its people.

He added, “I wish for Kuwait more prosperity and progress under its wise leadership, and may God bless these blessed days for Kuwait and its people with goodness and blessings.”

In turn, Her Excellency Tuba Nur Sönmez, Turkish Ambassador to Kuwait, expressed sincere congratulations and blessings to the Kuwaiti leadership, government, and people, wishing good health and blessings to His Highness the Amir of the country, and continued progress and prosperity for the citizens and residents of Kuwait.

She added, “On my own behalf and on behalf of the members of the Turkish embassy, I congratulate the Turkish community in Kuwait, hoping that these blessed days will bring peace and reassurance to the Islamic world and all of humanity.”

She continued, “On this occasion, I would like to express my happiness with the continued development of relations between Turkey and Kuwait, especially as the year 2024 marks the sixtieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.”

She added, “I pray to God that our unity, solidarity, and the bonds of friendship and brotherhood that unite the peoples of the two countries will grow stronger and stronger.”

Sönmez concluded her statement by saying, “My thoughts are also with the people of Gaza, hoping that they will find peace and tranquility in these difficult times, and that the coming year will bring comfort, prosperity, and lasting peace.”

For his part, H.E. Rami Tahboub, the Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of Palestine, said, “I am honored to extend, on behalf of myself and the Palestinian community in the State of Kuwait and the employees of the Embassy of the State of Palestine, my highest and most sincere congratulations and blessings on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Fitr to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal. I pray to God Almighty to provide him with abundant health and wellness and to make him an asset, support, and a great leader for the beloved Kuwaiti people.”

Tahboub recalled the honorable positions of the sisterly State of Kuwait and its successive rulers towards Palestine, its people, and its cause. He noted the standing of this dear country, which is proud of its authentic Arab affiliation, especially during this difficult ordeal and genocide faced by our people in the beloved Gaza Strip and the entire occupied State of Palestine.

He added, “I take this opportunity to extend my thanks, gratitude, and appreciation to all the medical and relief teams and Kuwaiti charitable societies who arrived day and night to alleviate the suffering and pain experienced by our people, especially the two medical teams and their members who risked their lives to provide healing to their brothers in Palestine. They are all loved, appreciated, and respected by the Palestinian leadership and the Palestinian people wherever they may be.”
