Ambassador Shaltout honors 67 outstanding Egyptian students for 2024/2025 excellence

In a heartfelt celebration, Egyptian Ambassador to Kuwait H.E. Osama Shaltout honored the top-performing Egyptian high school students in Kuwait for the academic year 2024/2025, recognizing excellence across the scientific, literary, and religious tracks.

During the ceremony held at the Egyptian Embassy in Kuwait, Ambassador Shaltout praised the leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, commending their role in advancing Kuwait’s education system.

The ambassador emphasized the deep-rooted, historic, and brotherly ties between Egypt and Kuwait, particularly in the cultural and educational fields, which have formed a cornerstone of bilateral cooperation since the early 20th century.

The Egyptian envoy conveyed the congratulations of Egypt’s Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdel Aaty to all Egyptian students in Kuwait, with special recognition to the 67 students who secured top rankings this year.

He expressed hope for their continued academic success and called on them to remain committed to excellence, as they serve as ambassadors of Egypt abroad and shining examples of Egyptian youth.
The ambassador also highlighted Egypt’s growing global academic stature, saying the Egyptian universities have taken significant strides in global rankings across various disciplines.

Mohamed Abdel Nabi, Director of the Egyptian Cultural Office in Kuwait, addressed the students, saying their achievement was the result of hard work, determination, and perseverance.

He urged them not to stop at this milestone, reminding them that true success is a continuous journey requiring diligence and purpose.

Abdel Nabi also thanked the parents and teachers of students, acknowledging their essential role in shaping this success.

Dr. Mohamed Sayed, Director of the Arab Open University in Kuwait, expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Egyptian Embassy and Cultural Office, describing them as a vital bridge between Egypt and Kuwait in the fields of education and culture.

He thanked Ambassador Shaltout for his ongoing support and acknowledged Kuwait’s care and support for Egyptian students and other communities.

He concluded with a message to the students: “I have full confidence that this recognition will be the first of many, as you continue to shine in your academic and professional journeys. Let your achievements serve your countries with values of loyalty, knowledge, and excellence.”

Dr. Ibrahim Salam, General Coordinator of the event, praised the embassy and cultural office for their ongoing role in promoting educational and cultural awareness through annual activities.

He noted that the success of Egyptian students on Kuwaiti soil symbolizes the shared ambition of both peoples and the fruits of collaboration in education. He added that this collective achievement is a source of national pride, inspiring further commitment to education and development.
