ALSAYER Group mobilizes 150+ employees for Kuwait’s 2025 Marathons

. . . advancing wellness and community engagement

ALSAYER Group reaffirmed its commitment to employee wellbeing and social responsibility by encouraging wide staff participation in two of Kuwait’s flagship running events this season — the Gulf Bank 642 Marathon held on November 29, 2025, and the NBK Run 2025 on December 13, 2025.

Reflecting its inclusive corporate culture, the Group supported employee and family participation by fully reimbursing race entry fees, reinforcing its belief that healthy living should be accessible, inclusive and community-driven.

More than 150 employees from across various business units took part in the events, stepping away from daily routines to promote fitness, teamwork and positive energy. ALSAYER participants competed across multiple race categories, including 21km, 10km and 5km distances, representing a diverse range of ages and professional roles.

In a notable display of determination and resilience, senior leaders aged 65 and above joined the races and performed strongly within their respective age categories, sending a powerful message that commitment to health and performance knows no age limits.

Engineer Nehad Al Haj Ali, Group Manager of Corporate Excellence at ALSAYER Group, said the initiative reflects a deeply rooted culture of continuous improvement. “Over the years, ALSAYER Group has cultivated an environment that inspires people to challenge themselves and strive for excellence.

“The happiness and confidence seen among our runners demonstrate a mindset of growth, resilience and high performance—both professionally and personally,” he noted.

Both the Gulf Bank 642 Marathon and NBK Run 2025 provided an opportunity for ALSAYER employees to strengthen social connections, enhance team spirit and prioritize holistic wellbeing.

The Group emphasized that such initiatives go beyond race day, serving as catalysts for long-term positive lifestyle changes that benefit individuals, families and the wider community.
