Sheikh Fahd Al Yousef reviews streamlining of labor markets

Several proposals aimed at developing the labor market and ensuring its growth and stability.

Sheikh Fahad Al Yousef, the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Minister of Interior chaired a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Manpower yesterday. During the meeting he praised the efforts of all those working behind the scenes to give fruition to Kuwait’s strategic goals of human and economic development.

Al-Yousef discussed the work on the agenda, in addition to several proposals aimed at developing the labor market and ensuring its growth and stability. He also reviewed security campaigns against violators of the residency law and the mechanism for confronting these violations.

He stressed the immense hard work invested in streamlining the labor market, through inspection campaigns at labor gatherings in various governorates and the arrest of illegal workers, in cooperation with the relevant government agencies, especially the Ministry of Interior.

He reviewed the obstacles faced and possible solutions for them. Al-Youssef directed the attendees to double efforts to improve the quality of services provided to the public and harness technical and human capabilities that can save time and effort and fully link the concerned parties within a strategic framework in accordance with modern information standards and systems.
