Al-Yousef praises National Guard as pillar of Kuwait’s security

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef Al-Sabah commended the vital national role of the National Guard in supporting the Ministry of Interior across various duties and security operations.
During an inspection tour on Thursday of Interior Ministry forces and the National Guard’s Salem Duty Force—tasked with securing mourning gatherings during the month of Muharram — Sheikh Fahad expressed deep appreciation for the Guard’s unwavering commitment. He described the National Guard as “the true backbone and right arm of the security establishment.”
Sheikh Fahad emphasized that since taking on his role as Minister of Interior, he has maintained close coordination with the National Guard, noting that its leadership and personnel always respond to the call of duty with responsibility and dedication, reports Al-Rai daily.
He added, “Words of thanks are not enough to truly express our gratitude to the National Guard. The sincere efforts of its members in serving Kuwait embody the spirit of cooperation and integration shared by all— from the Minister of Interior to the most junior member of the security forces.”
