Al-Yousef inspects frontline security forces, orders zero tolerance on threats

Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, carried out an extensive field inspection tour across several vital security sectors, accompanied by senior security officials, to assess operational readiness, monitor field performance, and personally check on personnel stationed across key locations.

The tour underscored that safeguarding the nation, securing its borders, and preserving stability remain a shared national duty that demands constant vigilance and peak preparedness. He began his visit at Kuwait’s northern border posts, where he was briefed on field developments, deployment strategies, and security procedures, reports Al-Rai daily.

During the inspection, he closely evaluated the readiness of forces on the ground, commending their high morale and strict discipline, which he said reflect unwavering dedication and commitment to national duty.

In a gesture highlighting his close connection with personnel, Al-Yousef joined stationed forces for lunch at their location, expressing deep appreciation for their sacrifices — especially as they remain on duty during Eid al-Fitr, away from their families.

The First Deputy then proceeded to the Al-Abdali border crossing, where he reviewed security measures and stressed the importance of maintaining heightened alertness.

He called for firm action against any attempts to undermine national security or disrupt public order, reaffirming the readiness of Kuwait’s security forces to defend the country and protect its achievements.

Concluding his tour, Al-Yousef visited the General Directorate of Coast Guard, where he assessed maritime security preparedness and coordination efforts to safeguard Kuwait’s territorial waters.

He emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation among all security and military sectors to ensure comprehensive national protection and reinforce an integrated security system capable of confronting emerging threats.

During his visits, he conveyed the greetings and Eid congratulations of Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah to members of the Border Security, Ports Authority, and Coast Guard, praising their dedication and service to the nation.
