Al-Yahya chairs Diplomatic Institute board meeting

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Diplomatic Institute, Abdullah Al-Yahya, presided over a meeting of the Institute’s Board of Directors to review key agenda items, including the institute’s training programs and strategic plans for the current year.

Minister Al-Yahya, according to Al-Rai daily, also met with the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, who was visiting Kuwait at the Institute’s invitation to deliver a lecture on “Challenges to Stability in the Arab Region in a Changing World.”

According to a statement from the ministry, the meeting with Aboul Gheit focused on the latest developments in both the Arab and international arenas, as well as regional challenges and opportunities for cooperation.

In other news, Al-Yahya received the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Djibouti, Abdul Qader Omar, during his official visit to Kuwait.
The meeting addressed bilateral relations and explored avenues for strengthening and expanding cooperation between the two countries.
