Al-Wasmi affirms full readiness for worshippers on 27th night of Ramadan

The Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs stated the ministry has extensive experience in organizing the blessed night over many years, enabling its teams to provide the best services to worshippers.

Dr. Mohammed Al-Wasmi, the Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, affirmed the ministry’s full readiness to accommodate worshippers on the 27th night of Ramadan, Al Rai newspaper reported.

Thousands gather annually at the Grand Mosque and Ramadan centers across Kuwait’s six governorates to observe this sacred night.

Al-Wasmi explained that the ministry has extensive experience in organizing this blessed night over many years, enabling its teams to smoothly manage crowds and provide the best services to worshippers.

He noted that teams at the Grand Mosque, Ramadan centers, and congregational mosques are making every effort to ensure seamless organization. The ministry carefully selected imams with distinctive voices, strong presence, and a large following among worshippers.

Al-Wasmi also emphasized that the ministry has not overlooked the essential services required by worshippers. Drinking water, refreshments, and suhoor meals have been provided to the working teams in coordination with government agencies and civil society institutions.

The minister expressed his gratitude to all teams and committees involved in organizing these blessed nights, including those within the ministry and other official bodies such as the Ministries of Health, Interior, Information, and Municipality, as well as the Kuwait Fire Force and Emergency Medical Services Department. He stressed that this collaboration reflects the ministry’s success in achieving its strategic objectives and serving worshippers to the fullest.
