“Al-Tabtabaei” emphasizes on curriculum development and enhancing distance education

The Minister of Education, Dr. Jalal Al-Tabtabaei stressed upon the development of curricula, activation of distance education, and attention to the teacher, so that he can perform his role in the best possible manner. This came during his first meeting with the Assistant Undersecretaries at the Ministry today.
Al-Tabtabaei learned about the Ministry’s sectors, the tasks assigned to each sector, and the obstacles it faces, if any. Also he reviewed the progress of work in the Ministry, and discussed about some urgent educational files with Undersecretaries from that sector, especially in activating distance education.
On an affirmative note, Al-Tabtabaei promised the Undersecretaries, that he would hold individual meetings in the coming days with each sector separately; stressing that the first meeting was to get to know the Ministry’s various sectors, and at the same time, review their files quickly and comprehensively.
In addition to this, Al-Tabtabaei called upon the Ministry’s leaders to improve the mechanism of communication with citizens through the ‘Sahel’ application.
Whereas for the Public Relations Department, he mentioned to assume responsibility for ‘filtering’ the topics raised through the application, and ensuring that the relevant sectors respond fully to all the topics included, in a step aimed at improving communication with the public.
Furthermore, Al-Tabtabaei stressed about the need to accelerate the process of digital transformation and mechanization of correspondence, which would contribute in accelerating administrative procedures, reduce reliance on paper, and improve efficiency and speed of response to requests.
The Minister of Education concluded with inspection of some schools on a field visit, during which he recorded his observations on some school facilities, recommending the need to provide an appropriate educational environment, for students and educational and administrative bodies.
