Al-Rawda and Hawally Coop launches 24/7 nationwide online delivery service

In a groundbreaking move for Kuwait’s cooperative sector, the Al Rawda and Hawally Cooperative Society has launched an online delivery service through its mobile application, providing 24/7 service to all regions of Kuwait — including chalets and farms.

Omar Ahmed Al-Ansari, Vice Chairman of the Board and Head of the Technical Committee and Investor Branches, emphasized that this step reflects the society’s commitment to offering a modern and seamless shopping experience tailored to the needs of residents in Rawda and Hawally, according to Al-Rai daily.

Both shareholders and non-shareholders can use the app, with an option to enter their cooperative fund number when placing orders.

The application allows customers to shop from several key sections, including the Perfumes and Beauty Center, Al Rawda Pharmacy, Al Rawda Café and Bakery, and the main cooperative supermarket.
Al-Ansari noted that this digital initiative comes in parallel with the closure of the central market for renovations from today until October 15, ensuring uninterrupted services during the refurbishment.

He assured customers that all spare parts branches will remain operational 24/7, as well as central markets in the Hawally area, to maintain the cooperative’s strong presence and accessibility.

“This is part of our continued efforts to lead in innovation within the cooperative movement,” Al-Ansari said. “We are committed to strategic projects that support food security, maintain a sustainable strategic stock, and solidify our role as a pioneering cooperative under the supervision of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor.”

He extended heartfelt appreciation to Minister Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah for her support in developing cooperative work and empowering young leaders in the sector. He also thanked the board and national workforce for their dedication, likening their teamwork to a “beehive” that operates tirelessly to ensure the cooperative’s success.
