“Al-Nawaf” reviews security and field preparations for the Gulf Summit
Al-Nawaf reviewed the security and field preparations for the upcoming Gulf Summit, ensuring all measures are in place for the successful hosting of the event. The review focused on enhancing coordination among security forces and agencies to maintain safety and smooth operations during the summit.
As part of the 45th GCC Summit preparations, which is scheduled to be held on December 1, in Kuwait, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior and Chairman of the Security Committee, Lieutenant General Sheikh Salem Al-Nawaf, chaired a security meeting this evening in the decision-making room.
This important meeting on security preparations was attended by the leaders of the security units of the Amiri Guard; Ministry of Interior; National Guard and; General Fire Force.
At the beginning of the meeting, Al-Nawaf welcomed the attendees and conveyed to them the special greetings and appreciation from the Acting Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Minister of Interior, H. E. Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, especially for their efforts in preparing for the Gulf Summit.
Al-Nawaf listened to detailed reports on the axes of the summit’s security plan, the tasks and duties assigned to each of the operating units, and the role of each of them in protection, security, control and prevention within the framework of coordination and joint field work with all relevant agencies.
The field preparations, procedures, human capabilities, and the mechanism for enhancing the necessary means of support and full and comprehensive coordination between all agencies participating in the security operations were also discussed extensively.
Al-Nawaf expressed his satisfaction and appreciation for the plans and preparations he had observed. In this context he gave some instructions and directives to complement what he had heard about the explanation and presentation of detailed reports, and plans from the leaders from the security units.
These plans were based on preparations, preparatory procedures, work mechanisms, and integrated coordination between the security services, the Amiri Guard, the National Guard, and the General Fire Force.
