During his hosting of the new Asian ambassadors at his diwaniya... emphasis on the depth of relations and the spirit of communication

The Secretary-General of the Asian Cooperation Dialogue, Ambassador Nasser Al-Mutairi, hosted a large number of ASEAN ambassadors, in addition to the newly appointed ambassadors to Kuwait, at his diwaniya last night. A dinner was held in their honor, in a friendly atmosphere reflecting authentic Kuwaiti hospitality traditions, and aimed at strengthening acquaintance and communication among the Asian diplomatic missions.
In his remarks during the event, Al-Mutairi welcomed the new ambassadors, wishing them success in their diplomatic missions in the State of Kuwait. He emphasized that their work in the country represents a unique opportunity within an active and open diplomatic environment.

He pointed out that Kuwait enjoys easy communication with various official entities, whether through direct diplomatic channels or through modern means, which enhances the effectiveness of diplomatic work and contributes to the success of the ambassadors’ missions.
He added that the Asian diplomatic corps in Kuwait is characterized by its dynamism and cohesion, as well as the strong bonds of friendship that unite its members, creating fertile ground for enhancing joint cooperation and exchanging expertise.
Al-Mutairi expressed his hope for the continued development of relations among Asian countries, whether through the Asian Cooperation Dialogue or via sub-regional frameworks such as the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), which will contribute to strengthening joint action and intensifying activities and events.
