Al-Mutairi hails Kuwait TV for winning awards at Arab Media Festival

Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, said the Kuwait TV winning four media awards at the 25th Arab Radio and Television Festival, held in Tunis from June 23 to 26 makes Kuwait proud.

In a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) today, Minister Al-Mutairi congratulated the producers, presenters, technicians, and administrators behind the award-winning programs.
He praised their continuous efforts and creative excellence, noting that their success reflects Kuwait’s media identity and the unwavering support of the political leadership for the media sector.

“These achievements translate the Ministry’s vision of supporting national media production and offering responsible, balanced content aligned with professional and ethical standards,” he said.
Al-Mutairi emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to nurturing national talent and elevating Kuwait’s media landscape in line with the country’s future ambitions.

Kuwait TV earned two gold (first place) awards—one for the program “Kuwait Nights” in the variety and artistic evenings category, and another for “Linguistic Arts” in the television cultural program category. Additionally, two more awards were won in the television program exchange competition.

The festival, organized by the Arab States Broadcasting Union under the theme “A Space for Convergence and Creativity,” saw wide participation from Arab media institutions.
