Al-Mutairi and Governors review initiatives for celebrating national holidays
The Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, reviewed with the Governors of Kuwait’s six governorates, several initiatives for the celebration of national holidays and occasions. These initiatives will be promoted through a campaign on the digital ‘51 Platform’ and across all media channels.
Al-Mutairi emphasized during the meeting that these events are part of an economic initiative to boost commercial tourism in Kuwait. The goal is to create opportunities for developing local businesses and new small projects. He also noted that a comprehensive marketing campaign will accompany all events, utilizing all media channels.
The Minister highlighted the coordination between all relevant government and private agencies to ensure the events are executed with a high level of excellence and mastery. As all these efforts aim in making the events a major attraction for both; domestic and regional tourism.
Similarly, in a statement it was explained that among the initiatives accompanying the celebrations are the ‘Bright City’ project in the Subiya area, the ‘Mutlaa Views’ festival in the Mutlaa area, a sports competition in the Bnaider area, and other planned events.
Al-Mutairi concluded and added that during the meeting, a visual presentation was given on the ‘Kuwait Shopping Festival’ which is one of the largest shopping festivals in the country. The festival will feature marketing offers, discounts, gifts, and raffles provided by the participants.
