Al-Huwailah visits social care homes to share Eid al-Adha joy with residents

As part of ongoing efforts to foster community bonds and social support, Minister of Social Affairs Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah conducted a field tour on the morning of Eid al-Adha to personally extend festive greetings to the residents of social care homes across the country.

During the visit—accompanied by Acting Undersecretary Dr. Khaled Al-Ajmi and a number of ministry officials—Dr. Al-Huwailah emphasized the importance of maintaining close connections with those under the ministry’s care, stating, “This tradition of visiting children, the elderly, and all other groups in our care has become a core part of our ministry’s social mission. We are committed to engaging with them during all national and religious occasions to foster a sense of family, warmth, and inclusion,” reports Al-Rai daily.

On the sidelines of the tour, Dr. Al-Huwailah expressing her heartfelt Eid greetings, said, “It is my great honor, on behalf of myself and all the employees of the Ministry of Social Affairs and its affiliated institutions, to extend our warmest congratulations and best wishes to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah, praying to Almighty God that this blessed occasion returns to our beloved Kuwait and the Islamic world with prosperity, blessings, and peace.”

For his part, Dr. Khaled Al-Ajmi reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to celebrating Eid with residents of social care institutions, including orphans, the elderly, juveniles, and persons with disabilities, in keeping with its mission to support and uplift these cherished segments of society.
He praised the dedication of the staff and administrators at social care facilities, commending their tireless efforts and humanitarian commitment to the welfare of residents.
