Al-Farwaniya Governor urges intensified security efforts for public safety

• Assistant Undersecretary of the Public Security Affairs Sector, Major General Hamad Al-Manifi, reaffirmed the public security sector’s commitment to developing strategic plans aimed at enhancing security, stability, and addressing security challenges to protect property and personnel.  

Sheikh Athbi Nasser Al-Athbi Al-Sabah, Governor of Al-Farwaniya, expressed his full support for all security efforts in line with the state’s general policy, emphasizing continued cooperation with security sectors, monitoring security developments, and serving the people in the governorate. He also praised the role and efforts of the public security sector, according to Al Jarida newspaper.

This occurred during his meeting today in his office in the governorate with the Assistant Undersecretary of the Public Security Affairs Sector, Major General Hamad Al-Manifi; the Director of Governorate Security, Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Mutairi; his assistant, Brigadier General Nayef Al-Hajarif; the Director of the Department of Operations and Periodics in the governorate, Brigadier General Badr Al-Hajri; and the commander of the Jleeb Al-Shuweikh area, Brigadier General Ayed Al-Subaie.

The meeting focused on discussing security issues and strengthening joint cooperation between the governorate and the security sectors to keep pace with urbanization and population growth.

Al-Nasser emphasized the need for increased security and awareness campaigns to ensure the safety and security of all residents in the governorate.

For his part, Al-Manifi reaffirmed the public security sector’s commitment to developing strategic plans aimed at enhancing security, stability, and addressing security challenges to protect property and personnel.  He thanked the governor for his dedication to overcoming challenges faced by security personnel and for maintaining strong cooperation and attention to security matters.
