Al-Dagher submits proposal to link Seventh Ring Road with Road 6.5

Municipal Council member Walid Al-Dagher has submitted a proposal to build a road connecting the Seventh Ring Road with Road 6.5, along with two new entrances to the South Abdullah Al-Mubarak area.

Al-Dagher said the project will ease traffic congestion, improve accessibility, and enhance emergency response times. He noted that the new road and the entrances will serve several key sections of the area and help distribute traffic more efficiently.

The proposal is particularly significant for emergency services, as Kuwait Fire Force engines currently face long detours through four roundabouts before reaching Road 6.5, reports Al-Rai daily.

According to Al-Dagher, this delay can extend response times by up to 30 minutes. The new route would allow faster and more direct access, particularly for units coming from the airport.

In addition, the road would facilitate access to essential facilities, including the main cooperative society, the Dar Al-Quran Center, the local police station, and various service centers.

It will also provide direct entry from the Seventh Ring Road to Road 6.5 without forcing vehicles into residential areas, ensuring quieter and safer neighborhoods.

Al-Dagher emphasized that the project would not only improve traffic flow but also serve vital community needs and strengthen public safety across the area.
