Al-Ajari Center says first day of Jumada Al-Ula will be on Oct 23

The Al-Ajari Scientific Center announced that the crescent moon marking the beginning of the Islamic month of Jumada Al-Ula will be born tomorrow, Tuesday, at precisely 3:26 p.m.

In a statement issued Monday, the center clarified that the crescent will not be visible on Tuesday evening, as the moon will set before the sun sets.

However, it will be possible to observe the crescent on Wednesday, October 22, when the moon will remain above the horizon for 16 minutes after sunset.

Based on these astronomical calculations, the first day of Jumada Al-Ula will be on Thursday, October 23, 2025.
