Agency coordinates with key entities to advance strategic food storage projects

The Government Performance Monitoring Agency held a coordination meeting with a number of relevant government institutions and entities to follow up on the implementation of the Cabinet’s decision regarding the Agency’s report on the provision of strategic storage areas for the establishment of warehouses and depots for food storage and other purposes.
The institutions included the Kuwait Municipality, the Kuwait Investment Authority, the Kuwait Warehousing Company, the Ministry of Public Works, and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, reports Al-Rai daily.
Another meeting was held with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Kuwait Municipality, the Public Authority for Housing Welfare, the Kuwait Flour Mills and Bakeries Company, and the Kuwait Supply Company to follow up on the construction of multi-story buildings (supply centers) in implementation of the Cabinet’s decision in this regard.
The agency said that the follow-up confirms the state’s commitment to providing strategic storage areas for establishing warehouses and depots for food and other storage purposes.
