Acting PM directs Interior Ministry to take firm action against security violations

Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef emphasized the need to intensify security and traffic efforts to ensure the comfort of citizens and residents, creating a safe environment for worship, shopping, and movement during the holy month’s final days.

Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, Acting Prime Minister, reviewed security and traffic plans, emphasizing mosque security, congestion management, and firm action against violations to ensure public safety.

Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, Acting Prime Minister, chaired a meeting at Bayan Palace with Assistant Undersecretaries of the Ministry of Interior and key security officials, in the presence of Lieutenant General Sheikh Salem Al-Nawaf, Interior Ministry Undersecretary, the Q8-Press reported.

At the start of the meeting, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousefwelcomed the attendees and commended the Ministry of Interior’s efforts in maintaining national security. He reviewed key aspects of work plans, security measures, and traffic management across the governorates and was briefed on preparations for the last ten days of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.

Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef received detailed reports on security and traffic plans, focusing on mosque security and managing traffic congestion in high-density areas.

He emphasized the need to intensify security and traffic efforts to ensure the comfort of citizens and residents, creating a safe environment for worship, shopping, and movement during Ramadan’s final days.

He also stressed firm action against security and traffic violations, maintaining readiness, and taking necessary measures to uphold public safety. Additionally, he directed enhanced coordination between security departments to ensure effective plan execution and an immediate response to any security developments.

Concluding the meeting, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef called for the continuous enhancement of security performance and strengthened cooperation between various sectors to maintain the highest levels of safety.
