Acting Director reviews progress of South Sabah Al-Ahmad City Project

Eng. Rashid Al-Anazi, the Acting Director of the General Corporation for Residential Welfare, recently visited the South Sabah Al-Ahmad City Project to assess the ongoing progress of the construction, completion, and maintenance of main road works, main infrastructure services networks, and rainwater tanks, reported Al-Jarida Daily.

This visit aimed to ensure that the project aligns with the contract terms and specifications. During his tour, Al-Anazi highlighted that the Corporation has assigned an engineering team, alongside the contract consultant, to closely monitor the site’s progress. This dedicated team aims to ensure that all works are executed as per the contract documents and adhere to the required specifications.

Al-Anazi additionally mentioned that the Corporation has issued two tenders for seven suburbs within the city. The first tender aims to implement infrastructure for residential plots in the N5, N7, N9, and N10 suburbs, comprising a total of 7,623 plots. The second tender focuses on the infrastructure development for residential plots in the N4, N6, and N8 suburbs, with a total of 6,189 plots. Al-Anazi emphasized that the tender and award procedures are being finalized to commence implementation, alongside the main road works of the city.
