Accused confesses to killing ‘Hani Al-Moussawi’ in Jabriya claiming provocation
The Criminal Court in Kuwait confronted the accused in the case of killing a young man, Hani Al-Moussawi, in his home in the Jabriya area, in front of his mother, with the charges against him.
The accused’s lawyer requested that his client be referred to a psychiatrist to assess his mental faculties, wherein the court asked questions to the accused as follows:
Court: Did you kill the victim?
Accused: Yes, I am the killer.
Court: How did you kill him?
Accused: I shot him with a gun.
Court: How many shots?
Accused: I fired two shots and he fell to the ground.
Court: What is your relationship with the accused?
Accused: I don’t know him.
Court: Why did you kill the accused?
Accused: There were problems and he provoked me.
Court: What was the cause of the dispute?
Accused: He provoked me with problems he caused.
Court: Where did you kill him?
Accused: In his home in Jabriya.
