Abu Al-Wafa appointed Egypt’s new ambassador to Kuwait

The Egyptian Official Gazette published Egyptian Presidential Decree No. 231 of 2025, appointing a number of ambassadors and consuls to Egyptian embassies abroad. Among them is Ambassador Mohamed Jaber Mohamed Abu Al-Wafa, who has been named Egypt’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the State of Kuwait.

Ambassador Abu Al-Wafa brings extensive diplomatic experience to his new post, having previously served as Egypt’s Ambassador to Tanzania. His most recent role was Deputy Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration for African Organizations and Groups, reports Al-Rai daily.
