AB gets four Directors-General as part of organizational restructuring

The President of the Audit Bureau, Issam Al-Roumi, has issued a decision to appoint four directors-general within the Bureau as part of an ongoing effort to enhance administrative efficiency and strengthen institutional performance.
The Audit Bureau explained these appointments are in line with the decision to reorganize the Bureau’s administrative structure, which was approved on July 20, 2025, and officially came into effect on October 7, 2025.
The restructuring aims to modernize the Bureau’s organizational framework, clearly define roles and responsibilities, and ensure the optimal use of human resources to enhance the Bureau’s supervisory and auditing functions.
The newly appointed general managers are expected to play a key role in implementing the Bureau’s updated strategic vision, improving coordination among departments, and advancing its oversight mission in line with best international practices in financial and performance auditing.
