MOH to fill vacant positions in the coming days

According to information obtained by Al-Jarida, the Ministry of Health is currently considering the appointment of several individuals to fill vacant positions in the coming days.

This includes the appointment of a new director for Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital, which has been without a director since the resignation of Dr. Al-Zenki on November 30 of last year. Health sources have confirmed that the ministry is also contemplating rotating some district directors and appointing acting directors for central departments, as some positions are currently held by temporary appointments.

In related news, Dr. Jamal Al-Duaij, the Director of the Jahra Health District, announced an extension of working hours at Al-Mutlaa 1 Health Center to operate 24 hours a day, including official holidays, starting from today, Friday.

This decision reflects the ministry’s commitment to providing continuous health services to the residents of Al-Mutlaa residential city, in line with directives from the Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadi. Al-Duaij conducted an inspection tour of the center and noted an increase in the number of visitors across all age groups. The morning period alone saw 54 patients, and efforts are underway to expand laboratory services by operating additional equipment.

Furthermore, equipment for dental clinics is being finalized and is expected to be operational within a month.
