Canada congratulates Kuwait on the occasion of National & Liberation days

On behalf of Canada and Canadians it is my honour to extend warmest congratulations to His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, and to the government and people of Kuwait on the occasion of Kuwait’s National and Liberation Days. Canada and Kuwait are partners – bound together by common values and strong people to people ties. Our country is proud to have played a part in Kuwait’s liberation and to now have members of the Canadian Armed Forces based at our Operational Support Hub in Kuwait, enabling security, stabilization and humanitarian engagement throughout the region. We look forward to deepening ties on all fronts in the coming years and we wish Kuwait and its people peace and prosperity, now and always.
