Mongolia congratulates Kuwait on the occasion of National & Liberation days

On behalf of the Government, the Embassy, and the people of Mongolia and of my own, it is my distinct pleasure to extend sincere greetings and warm wishes to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Deputy Amir and Prime Minister and the friendly people of Kuwait on the jubilant occasions of Kuwait’s 63rd anniversary of Independence and 33rd anniversary of Liberation.

To this day, Mongolians feel proud and honored that we were one of the first countries to denounce the Iraqi invasion back in 1990 and stood solid with our Kuwaiti brothers and sisters. Mongolia and Kuwait enjoy nearly half a century of excellent bilateral relations with mutual trust and confidence in each other. The existing relations between our two countries is a matter of great satisfaction for us.

Next year, as we will mark 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the State of Kuwait, Mongolia stands ready to take the opportunity to promote more frequent exchange of high-level visits, scale up the pragmatic cooperation in various fields including civil aviation, economy, agriculture, meat export, culture, education, trade, investment and tourism and bolster people-to-people exchanges in an effort to bring the bilateral relations to a new level.

Taking this opportunity, I warmly extend to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Deputy Amir and Prime Minister and the friendly people of Kuwait my best wishes for good health, success and continued prosperity.
